Happy Thanksgiving

I didn't do a very good job of taking pictures on Thanksgiving....I was too busy eating! We have spent the last three years away from home, so it was nice to be around family for the holiday season. We had Thanksgiving Dinner with Josh's family and then watched a movie (while the boys played X-Box360) Then on Saturday we had Thanksgiving dinner #2 with my side of the family at my Aunt and Uncle's new house. Needless to say, I don't think I will need to eat for a few days! After we ate, we had a few Ping Pong Tournaments and tried out the Foosball table. We had fun spending time with all of our family that was here and hope that everyone had a good Thanksgiving.

I had to put this picture in of Houston- he was so proud of the train track he made all by himself.

Cabin Fever

This weekend we got to go an a little get away up to Josh's Aunt & Uncle's cabin in Heber. Friday night Josh and I had the cabin to ourselves, while Houston slept over at his Grandma & Papas house. Saturday my brother Chris came up with Houston and we all went sledding and hung out together. Houston loved the cabin and had a blast playing everywhere and helping Mom & Dad. We were sad to leave, but it was great while it lasted!

Happy Halloween

Here are a few pictures of our little Halloween Skeleton going Trick-or-Treating. The first few houses Houston was a bit hesitant, but after he figured out that he got treats at every house he loved Trick-or-Treating! (he even wanted to go the next day)

Scarecrow Festival

Thanksgiving Point has a huge festival/carnival every year and so we decided to go and check it out. My parents had work off and so we took him in the morning to see if he would like it. He had such a fun time that when Josh got home from work we went back down again. They had a ton of things for the kids to do and I really didn't think we were going to get Houston to leave!

I am a Child of God

I came into the room and Houston was singing to his cars and I thought it was so cute, I wanted to catch it on film. It took me a second to realize that he was singing "I am a Child of God" a little church song we sing to him before bed. He was almost to the end of the song when I ran out of room on my memory card and it stopped recording....of all the times to run out of space!!
But I still thought it was cute.

For those of you not familiar with the song or not fluent in "Toddlerease" here are the words- "I am a Child of God, And he has sent me here, Has given me and earthly home With parents kind and dear. Lead me, guide me, walk beside me, Help me find the way. Teach me all that...

Children's Museum

Houston and I got to go hang out at the Children's Museum with some of our best friends from Texas. It was great to get to see them again and Houston was so excited to see Isaac he couldn't stop talking about him.
Houston and Isaac waiting to get into the Museum

Baby Brooke chillin' in her stroller....so cute sucking on her thumb!

The boys had a great time playing on all of the exhibits and eating lunch by the helicopter. Heather and I had a good time catching up and watching the kidos have fun. Thanks guys, we will have to get together again before you go back to Texas!

Time in Utah

Sorry for being such a blog slacker, but in all fairness we don't have Internet access at our house here. We have been having a lot of fun here in Utah, but I miss my Texas family A LOT!! Houston loves having so many relatives around and is being spoiled by all of his Grandparents....he is going to be sad when we move back. Here are a few random pictures of our fun here so far!

Houston checking out the Discovery Center at the Gateway Mall and enjoying time with Mom and Dad. We were excited to find out our Coyote pass got us in for FREE!

Pappa White and Houston playing on the car track.

Uncle Taylor taking Houston on a lawn mower ride before bed...it was all he talked about for days.

My Aunt Jeri is letting us borrow her trike while we are here and it is awesome. It is so sturdy that Josh and I can ride on it and man can it fly....we had a blast!

Uncle Chris and Houston taking one of MANY four wheeler rides that he has gone on since we have been here.
