The Week of Graduation

Prepare yourself for way too many pictures!

Our parents came in early this week for Josh's graduation on Saturday. It was a very exciting week and we were so glad to have family with us to celebrate. Josh's brother Jeremy and his family were even able to come in from San Antonio the morning of graduation. Here are some of the highlights from our adventures around Houston:

We took them all out for some Texas BBQ

Kemah Boardwalk...if you couldn't tell by the sign

Captain Cook

Nana Cook taking Houston on the double-decker carousel

The Boardwalk (next 3 pictures)

This kid loves his spashpads

Grandpa Cook and Houston at the Beach

Grandma and Papa White

Yeah...we touched a moon rock. That means that we've basically been to the moon.

Training Center

Apollo 1-17, or a combination of some of them, or all of them...I'm not quite sure

That's one big thrust booster

A rocket

Eating at the local Children's museum diner with cousin Cannon. Can you tell they got to pick out their own food?

I think that Jeremy got more into building his own car to make it down the track than Cannon or Houston did. They were all into the building process and had a lot of fun.

More water fun

I guess it's official then- Congratulations Dr. Cook!

Day at the Beach

We couldn't pass up the nice weather and had been promising Houston a trip to the beach, so we decided to go down to Galveston island. It was a lot of fun. Houston loved to play in the water but not near as much as he enjoyed driving his cars in the sand. He was laughing the whole time we were burying him in the sand. He also enjoyed the treat he got at the end. We knew that he had a good time because he fell asleep within about 5 seconds of our ride home.

Baby Shower x 3

Monday our friends threw an amazing Baby shower for Kerry, Audrey and I. Kerry is due soon and Audrey and I tend to go early, so they wanted to make sure we were well taken care of. It was great to get together with everyone to visit, enjoy wonderful food and celebrate the coming of our little ones. Thank you so much for all of your love and support, you guys are the best!!
