Happy 3rd Birthday Houston!

I promise I didn't forget my child's Birthday or what day it was (Feb. 3rd)....we just thought it would be fun to have a combined party with his buddy Isaac. The two of them are only a few weeks apart and both of them LOVE cars!

Heather made our cute invitations

Saturday we got together with a bunch of our friends at one of the parks near by and celebrated the big event. The boys had a blast running around and testing out all of the playground equipment before everyone got to the party. I wish I could take credit for the awesome playground pictures....Thanks Heather!

Houston could hardly wait for his friends to come so that he could have a juice box and his racetrack cake. The boys watched us make the cake the night before and it was all they could talk about.

Trying to light the candles was a bit of a challenge with the wind, so we just decided to sing and let them eat the cake instead. (Besides, they both got to blow out candles the night before)

Houston was so excited about his presents, he wanted to go straight home and play with everything.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOUSTON AND ISAAC!

Thanks to all of our amazing friends for making this such a fun day for our birthday boys!

Children's Museum Fun

We haven't been to the Children's Museum since we have been back home and were excited to check out some of the new exhibits. Houston's favorite place was the flow works water area outside, he loved checking out the new toys and playing in the water.

Guys and their Cars...

Houston and I got to go for another father-son outing at the Houston Auto Show. I don't think that either of us could have had more fun. Houston had a blast seeing all of the different cars as well as driving in his own little police car later on. He loved how he could sit in all the new cars and push his stroller around the whole time. It was great for me just seeing that kid so happy. I loved it and look forward to more times just like this.

Cook Family Pictures

While everyone was together for the Holidays we took a few family pictures, Houston now thinks that all family pictures are taken outside in the freezing cold! We didn't get too many shots, but it was a fun family adventure!

For being 12 degrees, Houston and Cannon were pretty good sports about being outside and having to take pictures. But by the time we took this picture both of them were definitely done and in tears, so this picture turned out pretty well considering. It was fun spending time together as a family, even if it meant standing in a pile of snow- We love you guys!
