Pictures in the leaves

A few of us decided to take family pictures in the beautiful fall leaves. The kids had a blast and it was probably the most fun I have had taking pictures in a while.

Fall Festival

My friend Robyn and I decided to brave the crowds with our six children and go to the Fall Festival this year. It was pretty busy, but the kids had a great time playing games and going on rides. We had a good system worked out and were able to get the kids through everything without a ton of wait time!

Waiting to get in the front gate

Leaves glorious Leaves!

Nature Center

We love having the Eagle River Nature Center close by to hike around on the trails, throw rocks in the water and enjoy the wildlife.

Instead of "Where's Waldo" this is "Where's d'Bear" It's hard to see with this camera, but we saw a big brown bear playing in the water!

Week of Women

Alright, so it wasn't a full week of celebrating...but I did get to spend a lot of quality time with the girls this week!

Birthday Girl Number Two

Friday and Saturday I had the chance to attend Time Out for Women in Anchorage. It was such a fun and uplifting event with wonderful speakers, music and great friends!

Sitting in our "Time Out Seats"

I told my boys that I went to Time Out for Women and Jaxson told me his cars got put in time out!

Eating at the Snow City Cafe....it definitely lived up to the hype!

I made the mistake of telling my husband that I LOVED Brad Wilcox....Of course I meant that he is awesome and I enjoy listening to him speak. When I told Brad about this he decided to write Josh a little message on the page he was signing. What a funny guy!

High on a mountain top

Josh and I decided to take advantage of his day off and the perfect weather and do a little hiking. We tried to find a new trail, but ended up just hiking Mt. Baldy here in Eagle River.

Beautiful Mt. Mckinley from Baldy....I was really wishing I brought my good camera!

Josh and Jaxson on the trail

Josh at the very top of the mountain, while Jaxson and I waited at the top of the treeline.

I love living in such a beautiful place!
