Noah's Ark

Houston had a blast today at Noah's Ark. It is a cute kiddie pool with slides, fountains and a tunnel!!(I think I was having as much fun as he was checking everything out) He was having having so much fun going down the slides and pretending to swim....I was suprised I got him to leave the place. I think his desire to sleep actually won out his desire to play for once!!

San Antonio- Round 2

Last weekend we made a trip up to San Antonio to meet Josh's parents and older brother and his family. Jeremy just graduated from Dental School (WAY TO GO!!) and so they were in Dallas for the ceremony and then drove over to San Antonio to celebrate.
Houston and his cousin Cannon took advantage of the hotel swimming pool...the water was freezing and they still didn't want to come out! The next day we headed over to Sea World, everyone else had gone earlier in the week and so we made sure to catch some of the rides and shows that they had missed. I think with the two weekends at Sea World, Houston is going to start asking to go to the park with the dolphins in it. Even though it was a super short trip, it was still great to get to see everyone---We love you guys!!

Happy Mother's Day!

One flower from Sacrament Meeting = $0. Another flower from the Deaf Ward's Sacrament Meeting = $0. Houston surprising Mom with those two flowers for a Happy Mother's Day = Priceless. Happy Mother's Day Sweetheart. Love, ME

San Antonio- Round 1

My parents were in for the week, so we decided to take a little road trip to San Antonio for a few days. Last time Josh and I went, we didn't get a chance to go to the Alamo or the Riverwalk- so they were first on the list! The weather was a lot cooler than it normally is, so it made walking around down town a lot more pleasant.

The next day we headed to Sea World to visit Shamu and his friends. Houston loved feeding the dolphins and would get so excited anytime that they came near. We caught most of the big shows on the first day and worked out a good system with Houston. He liked to watch the shows, but unlike last year, he didn't like being stuck in a seat. So we took turns for the different shows standing in the back so he could see and that worked really well.

Day two at Sea World we caught a few more rides and another show before we hit the water park. Houston loves the water and even though it was a bit cooler, he played and pretended to swim until he was wrinkly. Thank you for the visit Mom and Dad, we love you and had a great time!
