Visitors from the lower 48

This past week my parents came up for a visit and were able to spend some quality time seeing the sites and playing with their grand kids. It was fun to have them here for Conference, Easter egg hunts, and some adventures.

Jaxson and Houston enjoying their Easter baskets from Nana and Grandpa Cook.

Houston and Papa checking out the view at the Eagle River Nature Center

We took the boys to an indoor soccer field in Wasilla. They had a blast running around and playing with all of the toys.

Coming back from Wasilla

This is my attempt to get a picture of the Moose at Potter's Marsh. As you can see, or not see, I need to learn how to zoom in while going down the highway.

You sound like a true Alaskan calling the rest of the country "The lower 48!" Love it!

So glad your parents got to come and visit! We live for family visits, they are such a treat when you live far away!

So fun to have visitors, I am sure that your parents couldn't get enough of those two cute boys! Glad to see that you are finding things that you can enjoy up there.

WOW! I am so behind. You are now in Alaska. What a move! It looks so beautiful and a little painful. Well at least for me! I'll try to be a better friend and check things out more often.
