The poor little guy "swallowed the pool" as the nurses kept saying. They kept getting a lot of fluid out of his lungs just after he came. He wasn't too happy about that but he kept breathing like a champ.

I couldn't find a favorite so I posted all three of the big brother pictures. When Houston came home to take a nap he asked me about a hundred times why his baby brother couldn't come with us yet. He's VERY excited to be a big brother...we just hope it stays that way.

As you can tell we haven't nailed down the spelling of his name yet. Any suggestions? Jaxson or Jackson?

I am so happy for you. The picture with Houston is so sweet. As for the spelling I would go with the classic Jackson - but I am a traditional kind of girl. Either one is super cute.

Yea, so glad that he is here safe and that Brooke is doing well! I was just thinking yesterday that I needed to call and see if they moved up the due date. Guess they didn't need to! He is adorable, and Houston looks like a proud big brother! Hope we get to meet him soon!

My vote is for the traditional spelling of Jackson. The c and k match Cook! I realize now, having typed that, that might only make sense in my crazy mind.

Yeah, I am pretty sure you are supposed to look like crap after giving birth. What happened to that? You look gorgeous, all of you. Little J is the cutest baby, just perfect.
