Houston is Two!

Houston is officially a two year old! The age really should be something that I am used to hearing by now, considering that most of last year was spent explaining that my child was NOT two yet! (He got the Cook genes for height) It still seems strange to say that I have a two year old and will definitely take some getting used to. We had a fun little celebration for Houston and his friend Alex at playgroup on Wednesday. The kids had a good time climbing on the playground and eating cupcakes and the mom's had fun being able to visit with everyone!

Upside down cake anyone? Now I thought it was supposed to be the first birthday that was the messy one!

ROUND TWO for Birthday Parties!

Saturday we had a few friends over to our house to celebrate and have a pajama party. We had the kids decorate their own cupcakes...which was pretty entertaining to watch. I couldn't tell if more of the decorations ended up on their cupcakes or in their mouths. It was a good relaxing way to have a Birthday party, I highly recommend it!

What a cute two year old, time to start on another one! Looks like you had a fun birthday party for him! I am glad that he liked our gift, I did get it at Kohls just a few weeks ago. I hope you can still find it!

Happy Birthday little Houston! Looks like you had two great celebrations!

That's funny that you mentioned people already thinking he was two because of his height, I totally thought that the first time I saw his picture! He's lucky to be tall, if I have any boys they'll be lucky to hit 5'9"!

I totally know what you mean about people thinking your kid is older.Looks like you guys had fun ringing in the Terrific Twos, more commonly known as terrible.
